The management of the University of Jos have today the 28th of March 2017 dissolve the Student Union Government of the Institution. The Union has in the past couple of weeks been fighting for the interest of the students concerning the increment of the Schools charges from #27,400 to #45,000 per student. the Union has gone far in their campaign about the increment on social media platforms, Radio houses and Television networks as well. The struggle was championed by the dissolved president in the person of Comrade Sidney Daman and his Executives alongside Jossites.
With this, the Management have constitute a caretaker committee to be headed by the former speaker of the students Parliament Rt. Hon. Nansel Gideon who will serve as the chairman. The students are still resolute to their quest of no to 45K and hoping that something will surface in the upcoming week or weeks.
